Dong Kwai

Chinese angelica, of dong kwai, is an herb that has been used for centuries in China and is an ingredient in a combination herbal remedy called "Four Things Soup". Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, relies on using formulas in order to aid symptoms of causes of imbalance in the body. Many formulas are proven for certain circumstances and, thus, are used as starting block for herbal medicine healers when treating a person.

They may add or detract according to the indications of the patient's imbalance, as TCM seems to recognize moreso than Western medicine that an individual is just that and can have different responses to substances. But Four Things Soup seems to be a helpful formuls in general for aiding infertility and regulating the menstrual cycle with its combination of dong kwai, rehmannia, chuang xiong, and white peony.
