Keep in mind when one wants to grow a camomile plant, there are different species of plants that are called camomile. Notably, German Chamomile, or Matricaria chamomilla or recutita and Roman Chamomile, or Anthemis nobilis or Chamaemulum nobile. The plants of different species are botantically dissimilar, however their properties when being used as herbal remedies have similar effects on the human body.

Chemicals within each camomile relax overactive and severely contracted stomach muscles as well as relax the central nervous system to relieve anxiety.
