The benefits of camomile tea are many. Taking a cup of camomile tea during a cold, for instance, can help sooth inflammed membranes, making a sore throat or dry cough feel better. The tea can also help with taming allergies if taken 3 to 4 times a day during allergy season.

Consuming 3 to 4 cups of camomile tea has also shown benefits of regeneration of liver tissue. Reports show that the tea works even better than taking capsules of camomile.
