Ginsing and blood pressure

Perhaps ginsing and blood pressure are seen as linked because ginsing can have an effect on older individuals such that feel that the herb has a restorative or sedative effect. In general, what the herb may be doing is affecting the limbic system which is the part of your brain that is in control of thoughts and feelings. If there is a sense of calm or control, then blood pressure will decrease. In general, blood pressure symptoms are not treated in herbal medicine. Treating the cause of high blood pressure is what's important; but more difficult, of course, because one has to discover the cause. Clogged arteries, high stress, an inefficient liver - there could be many causes and each has a different solution. A healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet and exercise will be the first key to helping blood pressure.
