When deciding where to buy ginsing seed, first decide what kind of seed is best for your circumstances. Growing ginsing requires commitment depending on the type of area you choose to grow. The different types of seeds can help ensure the health of your situation. "Green" seed is not recommended for planting because the plant will not sprout until two years of storage, whether in the ground or on the shelf. A quicker method of starting plants from seed is to purchase "stratified" seeds from a company who has already done the storage process. There are also two and three year rootlets that can be purchased so that some of the waiting time for growing the herb is avoided. Of course, the prices increase with the amount of time the supplier had to spend on the plant. All of these can be found on online supplier sites.
