Gota Kola can be used by several different methods - of course, depending on why you're using it. It is the aerial parts that you will be using as an herbal remedy. Now, in India the fresh leaves can be eaten as a tonic - I do not have confirmation on how many to eat, so search around a bit more for that and let us know.
To make a powder, cut stems with leaves and hang them upside down for 2-3 weeks. Crush the leaves with a morter and pestal - 1 to 2 grams a day with water are idicated as a daily tonic to rejuvenate your mind and help with digestion. A paste from the powder, 2 teaspoons/25 ml of water can be used for eczema patches on your skin. An infusion of the dried leaves, approximately 1 teaspoon/1 cup of water, simmered for 15 minutes, can be taken as a tonic twice a day. These are the easiest methods to ingest your fresh and dried gota kola herbs to receive their benefits.
