Different amounts of steevia are needed to substitute for sugar in baking depending on the form of steevia you are using. The following is an excellent website that gives you good background information on steevia - including medicinal uses and history, as well as a great conversion chart for using steevia as a sugar substitute and a few recipes at the bottom of the page: http://chetday.com/stevia.html
