Crohn's Disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease usually effecting the end of the small intestine and the beginning of the large intestine. Since tumeric has been used traditionally in China, India, and Egypt as an anti-inflammatory and a digestive aid, I can see why someone with Crohn's Disease would try this herb out.
It's interesting to know that after recent decades of research, tumeric is shown to be as effective as steroids in combatting inflammatory processes in the body. I hope to see posts on some of the best dosages and methods of incorporating tumeric into a health regimen to relieve the effects of Crohn's Disease.
