Very few side effects are listed for gingko biloba and only serious implications are noted for overdosing or using gingko with blood thinning drugs, aspirin, NSAIDs, and antidepressant MAO inhibitor drugs. Otherwise, there does not seem to be a downside of gingko biloba. In fact, there are many reasons why it may be a very useful herbal remedy. It is an excellent herb for maintaining a healthy vascular system and circulatory system. It helps the nervous system and brain in many ways.
Gingko biloba has constituents that act as antioxidents, and thus cancer fighters. It can also aid the body against allergies and inflammatory diseases. Really, gingko has been used for more time than we may even know since its the oldest species of plant on earth. There does not seem to be a downside to including gingko into your health regimen.
