Cammomile tea is a pleasant way to administer this herbal remedy. The german cammomile flowers are easy to find in bulk at a local natural food store or purchase online. Just boil a cup of water and steep 1 tablespoon of flowers for 10 minutes. Many of the ready-made tea bags are of fine quality and work well to calm nerves, relieve digestive problems and induce a relaxing sleep. Cammomile tea can also be used as a wash for irritated eyes during allergy season or to help relieve the pain and inflammation of a wound.

Cammomile tea is also helpful for these same reason to use with your family dogs and cats. A cotton ball dipped in cammomile tea and cooled makes a great wash for fighting wounds or for irritated eyes due to herpes or conjunctivitis.
