Modern research has shown that cinnimon can be used to improve blood pressure. By using the powdered form of cinnimon bark all of the constituents of the herb are available including the ones that act as anticoagulants. Anticoagulants are blood-thinners. This can aid in reducing high blood pressure. But, as with all herbs, it is important to use them under direction and especially if you are using any prescription meds - in this case any other blood thinning medications.

Cinnimon has also shown to help the body reduce its blood lipid levels. So, cinnimon can help reduce the amount of the cholesterol in the body which greatly affects the health of the body's arteries and can also decrease high blood pressure.
