Cinnimon is a native plant of Sri Lanka and India and has been used as much for its medicinal properties as for its culinary ones by countries all over the world. Historically, cinnimon was used for colds, flus and digestive ailments and it is used for those things today, as well. The inner bark of cinnimon is used in medicinal preparations. The herb works to help the symptoms of colds and flus by having a warming effect on the body; it improves circulation and can help remedy nausea and vomiting.

It is seen as an herb that can help a person return to normal strength by supporting the digestive system, especially. It is traditionally used with people who are in convalescence.
