Herbal suppliments for bone loss are many, including nettle leaves, oatstraw, and red clover. These herbs help support and maintain estrogen's effect on bone density. Preparing for the future is the best, though, and eating green vegetable matter that can help your bones all your life is important; dandelions can have this effect as well as being a useful tonic for your liver. Horsetail and raspberry leaves are also suggested as they contain a fair share of calcium.
Having herbs that act as estrogen enhancements or replacements is important for bone strength, but so are herbs that effect progesterone. Agnus castus is an herb that helps in order to, in turn, regulate estrogen levels and support bone density.
