Liquid herbal suppliments such as tinctures are an excellent and easy way to adminster the herb. Research and find a reputable herbal suppliment manufacturer in order to find the highest grade tinctures. Be sure to follow the directions on the label, the dosages and times to take per day, since liquid herbal suppliments can vary in potentcy. Keep in mind also that liquid herbal supplements are in some kind of carrier, oil or alcohol, and you may want to pay attention to how your body responds to those as well as the herb.
You can also make your own liquid herbal suppliments by buying or collecting the whole fresh or dried herb and making the tincture yourself. This requires about 200 grams of herb to 1 liter of alcohol, like vodka. Steap it for two weeks, shaking occasionally. Strain out the liquid and store it in dark bottles away from the sun. Standard dosages are 1 teaspoon, 2 to 3 times per day diluted in water.
