Alternative health therpies are becoming popular in the western world once again. Herbalism and other therpies were a large part of the western world's history, but over time and with scientific advancements, the historical evidence of how alternative therpies are useful for self-healing have been forgotten. Perhaps an inefficient healthcare system has made people turn toward other sources of health promotion and they have started to take an active role in protecting their bodies. Herbal medicine is a fast growing business due to better standards set by herbal guilds and country regulations. Herbal medicine is also versatile and remedies can change according to the changes in a human body.

Ancient alternative therpies like acupuncture and Ayurveda are also becoming popular as people experience results and learn more about the historical evidence for healing. Perhaps this is actually the time where modern medicine and alternative therpies will come together to form a new age of healing.
