The health benefits of don quai or dang gui or Chinese Angelica are numerous. It is an important tonifying herb - this means it is helpful to the body when the body is defecient in some manner. A person with anemia, for example, would benefit from using don quai. When there is weakness in a person then don quai is administered to improve circulation, digestion or relieve pain.

Don quai even benefits inflamed muscles, menstrual pain, arthritis conditions, and clogged arteries.
