Tumeric Tea

Making tumeric tea is one type of preparation for administering the herbal remedy. It can also be used in food, taken in concentrated extract form via tablet or taken from a tincture. One recipe for tumeric tea is to boil 2 cups of water, add 1/2 teaspoon each of tumeric and ginger, simmer for 30 minutes, then add honey and a twist of lemon. Be creative and think of your own concoction for self-healing. In general, all the tumeric tea recipes I've seen require 1/2 teaspoon of the herb along with other ingredients. Another recipe even added almond oil and swore that it would be great - that intrigues me. Recommended dosages for teas are usually between 2 to 4 cups a day until the symptoms resolve.
