Kudzo Seed

Kudzo seed is readily available from online suppliers. The question is why one would want to grow it. If you are in an area where there is a regular winter frost then this seems to be a safe bet. The frost will kill kudzo vines so one can be assured of keeping the swiftly growing plant in check. Otherwise, it would take over the garden, the yard, the neighbor's yard, and all the trees along the streetline. Seriously, though, kudzo has some historically significant herbal remedies in China, like treating pain associated with neck and back problems, increasing blood circulation and treating hangovers.
The kudzo seeds can also produce a tasty plant that makes a light grape tasting jelly (the flowers smell like grape soda to me), the roots are made into tofu in Japan, and you can even make wine (interesting - isn't it intoxicating?).
