Horse Chesnut

Horse chesnut is the main natural remedy to use with vein problems. It is often know as a solution to varicose veins and is a popular herbal product for women. Modern studies have shown that the herb is, in fact, important to relieve varicose vein symptoms, as well as hemorrhoids and frostbite. It seems to help the walls of veins and reduces fluid retention in them. Horse chesnut can also help with fluid movement into and out of the capillaries which aids the cirulatory system.

Most parts of the tree are used; the leaves, bark, flowers, and seeds all have the constituents that help with vein health, though there is research that shows using more parts of the plant may be helpful for the constituents to work better and compliment the action of each other instead of just taking key extracts and using them alone.
