Chammomile tea is a soothing way to end the evening in so many ways. For starters, scientific research shows that chammomile is able to reduce stress hormones in the blood. So, a cup of tea can help reduce the stress that has built up after a day's adventures. It is also an effective muscle relaxant or antispasmotic so not only does this aid the stomach with digestion but tense muscles throughout the body can relax and prepare for a pleasant sleep.
Many digestive problems can be calmed with chammomile tea: indigestion, acidity, gas, gastritis, bloating, peptic ulcer, and irritable bowel syndrom. Any of these can create a sleepness night, but chammomile can work on the human body from many different angles to help improve rest.
