Lavendar essential oil

I love using lavendar essential oil. I feel like its safe and its so useful for me in many situations. I usually use no more than 10 drops per 6 ounces of distilled water. I put this in a spray bottle which I mostly use to spritze the area around my desk when work is getting hectic or bothersome. I'll also use this same tincture to spray on my skin, especially when I'm chapping from a sudden coldness in the air. Bug bites and poison ivy get a spray, too, for temporary relief and if the literature and history are right - quicker healing time.
