Boswelia serrata extract is a relatively common herbal remedy and can be found easily online. Interestingly, the literature that is available in the ads for the products lends many more interesting characteristics to boswelia serrata than I have seen in book literature, but it is all worth researching. Some sites purport that boswelia is anti-carcinogenic and anti-tumor. Recent reports show that boswelia serrata can be useful in joint pain and back pain and can even help in cases where steroids are needed by offsetting some of the symptoms of the problems and therefore helping the patient to use a lower steroid dose.
