Ashwaganda and Parkinsons

Ashwaganda may be an herbal remedy that would alleviate some of the symptoms of Parkinson's. There is very little data at this point that points to extensive effects of ashwaganda on the disease, but the properties that are associated with the herb certainly seem to pertain to helping someone with Parkinson's. Gotu kola is the herb that is historically seen to help.
But ashwaganda can help with the central nervous system as well as with general stability and restoration in people. There are no specific indications that ashwaganda helps support the liver, so other herbs such as milk thistle would be good in this respect. As an antioxident, ashwaganda may also help fight the loss of brain cells.
