Chronic Prostatitus

The literature on self-healing with natural remedies for chronic prostatitus agrees that these should only be used in conjunction with professional medical help. Mostly, these remedies seem to be helpful in treating different types of prostate problems, such as enlarged prostate, and they are used to alleviate symptoms or help the body work to heal itself better.

Aromatherapy is suggested for a benign prostate enlargement by placing hot compresses with a few drops of chamomile, juniper, or pine over the lower abdomen. This should help with pressure and improve urine flow. An infusion of horsetail and white deadnettle, taken 3 times a day may help with an enlarged prostate, too.
