There are several homepathic remedies that can help the body deal ear infections. There are different symptoms that accompany different types of infections so paying attention to what they are will help you choose the correct remedy. In the "Family Guide to Homeopathy", for example. Flint 6c is recommended if the ear problems are related to sinus infections, Potassium choloride 6c if there is a runny nose and cough, or Mercurous choloride 6c if there are swollen lymph nodes and phlegm. If you are like me, than the pain is the most unbearable, and the recommendation is to use Pulsatilla 6c. All of these were recommended to be used 4 times a day for a week.
Again, other remedies are recommended according to the symptoms. The book also explains what to do in acute situations before being able to reach a physician to treat the infection.
