An important thing to remember about homepathy is that its purpose to to aid the human body in healing itself. So, homepathy does not necessarily cure a disease like hepatitis, but it can aid the body's immune system in such a way that the body can then deal with the illness better. Homepathy can be used in conjunction with conventional hepatitis drugs, in fact. Many drugs have side effects that homepathy can help alliviate by helping the body cope better.
When treating hepatitis, natural health practioners seem to use a combination of therapies. So they might use some homepathy with hep C, for example, using a nosode that acts similarly to a vaccine that stimulates the immune system to fight the virus, while supporting the liver and kidneys using herbal preparations and specific diet management.
