Pepermint Oil to get rid of Rodents

Pepermint oil seems to be useful as a repellant for rodents. Diluted in a cleaning solution, pepermint oil can leave a residue on trashcans, for example, and thus be a safe deterant to intrusion. Also, cleaning areas like shed floors or house entryways with a pepermint solution could prevent a mouse infestation. It seems that mice do not like the smell of pepermint.
Pepermint may also help against ringworm. Be careful not to use the concentrated oil on the skin since this is a hazard and may cause a different kind of irritation. But use a tea with fresh or dried leaves and wash the area several times a day.
