Ginko Biloba Depression

Is there any direct link for ginko biloba affecting depression? In general the literature does not point to specific constituents of the tree that aid the human mind like an anti-depressant herbal remedy might such as Saint John's Wort. However, consider what ginko biloba is purported to do, which is increase circulation of blood to the brain, improve memory function and perhaps counter the effects of Alzeimer's dementia and non-Alzeimer's related dementia.
This is itself can be a significant help in creating a better mindset for anyone. Imagine your mind slipping away and then being able to recover some of the things you've lost from using ginko. In this sense, ginko biloba would, in fact, be very helpful in treating depression.
